Tyler Essary (he/him)
I'm a photo editor and art director based in Brooklyn, NY. My journey began at Western Kentucky University, where I delved into the world of photojournalism and instantly fell in love with visual storytelling.
Now, fast forward to the present, and I'm an associate art director at NBC. Prior to this, I honed my skills at TIME magazine, where I tackled breaking news and politics. I also did a stint at Mashable, where I immersed myself in the world of pop culture and technology.
When I'm not engaged in creating, you'll find me exploring the streets of Brooklyn, discovering hidden gems in its shops and relishing the vibrant restaurant scene (food is my ultimate love!). Additionally, I nurture my small yet mighty patio garden, channeling my inner farmer-to-be.
